Shurtruel Black was born and raised in Miami, FL. She holds a bachelor's degree in ultrasound technology. In 2018, she relocated to Dallas, TX, where she worked in business sales at the AT&T Discovery District in downtown Dallas. In 2022, she embarked on a new career at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, initially serving as a Financial Aid Advisor before transitioning to the accounting department. Shurtruel is known for her strong teamwork skills and dedication, driven by the inspiration of her two children. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, traveling, and watching movies.
